Day 1: Cusco – Lares – Huacahuasi

Pickup from your hotel at 06:00 a.m. Our transport will take us to Calca, where we will stop for breakfast and a short walk through the typical market of Calca.

Continuing, we will arrive at the "Hualcapunku Pass" (4,300 masl / 14,107 ft) where we can enjoy views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, the highest in the Cusco region (6,370 masl / 20,898 ft). Continuing, we arrive at the Lares hot springs where we will have time to enjoy the waters.

After lunch, we will prepare to set off on our walk to Huacahuasi, about 2 to 3 hours (3,800 masl / 12,467 ft), where we will spend the night in tents.

Day 2: Huacahuasi – Patacancha

In the morning we will enjoy breakfast and start our hike towards the Ipsaycocha Pass with beautiful views of the Vilcanota mountain range. Then we descend to the Ipsaycocha lagoon with views of the Patacancha valley, which will be our second campsite.

Day 3: Patacancha – Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu

After breakfast, we continue our hike. From this point we will find agricultural terraces and pass through the community of Willoq, a very picturesque village. The main attraction is their very characteristic clothing made by themselves, where red, green and yellow colors predominate in their textiles. We will have lunch in the town of Ollantaytambo.

In the afternoon, we take the train to Machu Picchu and spend the night at a hotel.

Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take one of the first buses to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours. Then, we return to Machu Picchu town to take our return train to Ollantaytambo and then transport back to Cusco, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
