Today, we start the tour with pickup from your hotel around 08:30 hrs. After one hour we arrive at the Inca Architectural Complex of Tipon, with its aqueducts, fountains and terraces, dedicated to agriculture and the Water Cult. There, the Water Temple stands out, where the Incas performed ceremonies during times of drought.
After this guided visit, our transport will take us about 40 minutes to the Pre-Inca Architectural Complex of Pikillaqta, from the Wari Civilization and Culture. There, well-organized temples, houses, streets and plazas stand out, built with small stones and clay.
In several rooms, you can still see remains of the stucco applied to the walls, with plaster and clay combined.
Finally, we will head to the famous Colonial Church of Andahuaylillas, better known as the 'Sistine Chapel of the Americas', whose interior is almost entirely decorated with frescoes, murals and canvases, as well as sculptures and paintings by famous Peruvian and foreign artists from the Colonial Era.
The tour ends a few blocks from the Main Square of Cusco, around 2:00 p.m.
