Transfer from hotel to the lake port of Puno, to board a motorboat where we travel to the floating island of the Uros, visiting for about 45 minutes. We will have a friendly bilingual guide (English and Spanish) from the departure point who will tell us about the life of the inhabitants.
The Uros are a very ancient native community, made up of more than 40 islands built with totora reeds by their own inhabitants. The reeds are also used for building their homes, boats (rafts), fuel and as food. On this excursion we visit 2 or 3 islands for about 30 minutes each (with the option of taking a ride on the typical Totora reed boats).
We arrive in Puno at approximately 12:30 pm and return to the hotel.
